Recent projects
A small selection of jobs from the last couple of years. We don't post every car that comes through the shop (most customers prefer to keep their projects private) but this gives a sense of the range. If you'd like to see more, we can usually send additional photos of similar past work that's relevant to a quote.
Convertible tops
1995 Mercedes SL500
Replaced the original fabric top with a new Stayfast canvas in dark blue. New tack strips, new rear window. Customer wanted to keep the original boot cover; we cleaned and re-conditioned it rather than replace.
2008 Mazda MX-5 NC
Standard top replacement in black Twillfast. The plastic rear window had cracked; we replaced it with a glass-window panel to match the later model years.
1970 Ford Mustang
Period-correct white vinyl top with the original chrome trim. Sourced a reproduction of the OEM pad set so the new top sits exactly the way the factory intended.
Custom interiors and re-trims
1972 Porsche 911 (long-hood)
Full leather re-trim — front seats, rear shelf, door cards, headliner. Customer wanted to honour the original tan but with modern leather. We sourced top-grain US tannery hide and matched the OEM stitch pattern.
1968 Ford Mustang Fastback
Black vinyl interior in the factory pattern. Replaced the seat foam (the originals were past saving), recovered door panels, and installed a new headliner and carpet set.
2004 BMW E46 M3
Headliner replacement after the factory sag — a common issue on this model. Recovered in the closest match to the original Anthrazit colour.
Classic restorations
1965 Triumph Spitfire MkII
Full interior restoration to concours spec. New leather seats in red, matching door cards, period-correct carpet set, fresh headliner, refurbished tonneau cover.
1957 Chevrolet Bel Air
OEM-pattern reproduction interior in two-tone red and white. New convertible top in white Stayfast. Sourcing the reproduction trim took six weeks; the actual interior work took four.
1968 MGB Roadster
Black leather seats with the proper biscuit pleat, matching door cards, new black wool carpet, new black mohair convertible top. The car came back looking the way a new MGB looked in 1968.
Marine
27' Sea Ray Sundancer — full re-trim
Replaced all helm and saloon seating in marine-grade white vinyl with grey piping. New bimini canvas. The boat lives outdoors year-round; we used UV-rated thread throughout.
2022 Yamaha WaveRunner
Custom seat cover in matching colour after the original cracked. Quick turnaround — three days from drop-off to delivery.
1989 Boston Whaler Outrage 22
Cushion set re-built from scratch — new closed-cell foam, new marine vinyl in the original cream-and-navy split. Some of the original mounting hardware was salvageable; the rest was replaced.
